Our mission is to support the digital transformation of healthcare through digital innovation. We specifically stimulate young entrepreneurship in HealthTech.
We coach students, start-ups and care professionals in the development of innovative digital projects, be it in cure, care or prevention.
Every day we guide people from idea to sustainable business.
- Focus on innovation and entrepreneurship
- The partner for HealthTech startups
- Strong network in healthcare

As region manager at BHIC with expertise in Healthtech and Biotech, I am often the first point of contact for standups and startups. I gladly help them both in terms of content and business. In this way the digital transformation of Healthcare within Flanders will be stimulated. Networking, making the right contacts and facilitating opportunities for startups are for me the ingredients of a successful day! Do you want to be part of this fascinating network, do not hesitate to contact me!

After obtaining my master’s degree in physiotherapy at the University of Ghent, I started my professional career within the health industry. I gained experience as an Account Manager in the pharmaceutical sector and in medical devices. This is how I got to know the ins and outs in Belgian hospitals which led me to a great interest for innovation and entrepreneurship within healthcare.
I’m looking forward to put Ghent on the map as a true HealthTech city, in close collaboration with the local stakeholders. I will be the first point of contact for anyone who has an innovative idea within healthcare in Ghent. So please don't hesitate to contact me!

As a creative centipede I am responsible for the daily management of the non-profit organization. After a career of more than 15 years in the IT world, entrepreneurial blood began to flow. This led, among other things, to the creation of a number of initiatives and to being more involved in the startup landscape as a coach and mentor. Since the end of 2015 I have managed the BlueHealth Innovation Center (then Microsoft Innovation Center Flanders) together with a fantastic team. Personally, I am mainly busy with guiding ideation sessions, pitch trainings and turning business plans inside out.
